A heavily curated selection of things I've illustrated.

I'm very self-concious of my 'art' and struggle to even consider myself a hobbyist. Nevertheless, some say they like my works, so the images are archived here in their original quality.

As a warning, these images are volatile. I will delete them on a whim if they bug me too much. Download them for personal viewing if you like.

2022 - Less productive year
2021 - Selection from the failed challenge to draw something every day
- (pencil sketches may surface when I eventually scan the ones worth keeping).
2019 - Some works from my High School Graphic Design Class

~ 2022 ~

Ryoko Hakubi from the Tenchi Muyo series laying in a field of grass.

Ryoko Hakubi
Originally just a sketch I drew at work, but eventually transferred over to a digital version. At some point I want to redo the background, it's too plain and boring currently.

Image inspired by the Project DIVA music video for the song 'Gizmo' by uguis08.

Gizmo
Project DIVA got me obsessed with the song "Gizmo" (or Gizumo, ぎずも) by an extremely niche VOCALOID producer uguis08. The song is short and simple, but it evokes a sense of nostalgia. The rendered music video elevates that response. I'd like to redo this picture from scratch.

A series of six images done for a trend of drawing Capcom characters in your own style.
The characters included are Jin Saotome from Cyberbots, Bishamon from Darkstalkers, Dynamo from Mega Man X, Axl from Mega Man X,
Chun-Li from Street Fighter, and a fusion of Nemesis from Resident Evil and Sigma from Mega Man X.

C(r)apcom Sixart
A particularly motivated time at the beginning of the year. I asked my friends and Twitter mutuals for help contributing to a Capcom fanart trend. I received suggestions quickly after posting the template, which made me happy to see some anticipation. It also meant I didn't have to come up with ideas for entries myself.
I title Capcom as "Crapcom" because that's a habit of mine.

~ 2021 ~

An image of Shard the Metal Sonic from the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics
with a cyan accent color instead of orange, and grasping his head with a look of shock on his face.

Shard PFP
I've used profile pictures of Shard the Metal Sonic ever since I was born, so I decided to actually draw one myself (albeit with my own color palette). This is sort of the "mascot" or personification of JarateChop until I discover something more original.

A fusion of both Waluigi from the Super Mario franchise and the Joker from Batman,
the latter more inspired by his appearance in 'The Animated Series.'

Jokuigi
My bestie suggested one night to make a cross between the Joker and Waluigi, this is the result. This was around the time a lot of Joker phone call memes were making rounds online.

An image of Dr Robotnik from Sonic the Hedgehog franchise holding a Time Stone
and laughing, backdropped by the Bad Future version of Metallic Madness from Sonic CD.

Metallic Madness - Bad Future
Self explanatory if you know Sonic CD. I felt like drawing a Robotnik.
I still don't have a grip on line stabilizers.

An image of Sonic the Hedgehog standing with his hands against his hips.

Sonic Test
The first drawing on a laptop I initially bought for college. It later became my productivity device (currently typing this out on said device).
I purposefully ordered it because it came with a stylus. This picture was my test.

An image parodying
Depeche Mode's 'Songs of Faith and Devotion' album cover with the cast of StarFox from the StarFox franchise.
Dave Gahan is replaced with Fox McCloud, Martin Gore with Peppy Hare, Andrew Fletcher with Slippy Toad, and Alan Wilder with Falco Lombardi.

StarFox - Songs of Space and Contention
The StarFox and Depeche Mode lineups kind of match in my head.

A fusion of Garfield from the eponymous comic series and Big the Cat from Sonic the Hedgehog.

el gato es gordo
An idea from my bestie who has an unhealthy obsession with Garfield. He knows of my unhealthy obsession with another franchise.

A recreation of the cover for Orbital's album 'Snivilisation' done
in a style close to 8-bit graphics.

Snivilisation Sprite Art
A sprite-art adaptation of the cover for one of Orbital's most underrated albums.

A sprite-based image of the original character codenamed 'Xenia' by JarateChop,
an android with a dark skin tone, black sclera with orange pupils, and a mix of white and black contrasting torso and leg segments,
accented by 'aerodynamic' holes that produce a cyan glow.

Xenia Sprite Art
3/4 of an original character I started designing early in 2021. It's only from one angle, and technically in a low resolution, but this image is lightning in a bottle for me. I still occasionally use it for references on her design.

~ 2019 ~

An image of Martin Gore from Depeche Mode in a black and white gestalt style.

Martin Gore Gestalt
Companion piece to the one on the right.
At this point in time, Depeche Mode were my favorite band.

An image of Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode in a black and white gestalt style.

Companion piece to the one on the left.

A repeating gif of an individual jumping towards a pole and 'running in the air' as they
            spin around the pole.

Rotoscope Practice
Sourced from a video I saw make the rounds on socials. I thought the dude looked cool as hell and must have had a ton of upper body strength.
